Ferrell plays Lonnie “The Hawk” Hawkins, a washed-up, former No. 1 ranked golfer in the world, looking to recapture his magic and win the U.S. Open to complete the Career Grand Slam. Luke Wilson plays Golden Fisk, Lonnie’s long-time rival.
