A full house for Setting the Stage for the Digital Age at the Astor Theatre!
From Richard: I wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who came together to make Setting the Stage for the Digital Age at the Astor Theatre in Liverpool, Nova Scotia such a big hit on Saturday night. The bravoFACT short films Sex! With Hit Robots and Ticondergoa went over big and you could hear a pin drop while The Disappeared: The Film screened. We did a lively Q&A with The Disappeared producer Walter Forsyth, cinematographer Christopher Porter and actors Brain Downey and Neil Matheson, gave away prizes (including a Spider-Man prize pack to my old gym teacher Owen Hamlin) and closed out the evening with the wildly entertaining David Myles.
I was thrilled we had a full house, and even more excited when, at the end of a very long evening, the place was still full and people were enjoying themselves.
The Astor is a gem, and I was thrilled to be a part of it’s relaunch.
