This week we ask, Is “Avatar: The Way of Water” a drama with lots of animation, or an animated movie with dramatic elements, like “Guillermo Del Toro’s Pinocchio,” which was only nominated in the animation category? Did the pandemic kill off movies for adults, or are adults to blame for the lack of success of recent movies aimed at mature audiences? Does Adam Sandler deserve the Mark Twain Prize for Humour?
